The title has to be clear and provide synthesised information to non-experts in the field of the requested research technology
The information in the title should enable the clients to grasp, whether the profile is of some interest to them.
The title should:
• Be clear & concise (details can be displayed in the description);
• Be attractive (avoid using “marketing speak” and/or capital letters);
• Indicate the Framework programme, under which the consortium wants to apply (e.g. H2020);
• Indicate the Targeted type/role of partner in the formed consortium.
Important: Marketing speak, unnecessary capital letters and spelling errors are not allowed in the title.

The summary should be a short overview of the requested technology/know-how and it aims at providing the following information:
• Geographical location and country of origin of the requesting client;
• Type of organisation of the requesting client and their field of activity;
• Concise description of the R&D project (i.e. objectives);
• Programme-call (e.g. H2020 sub-programme, Eurostars, Interreg, COSME, LIFE, etc.;
• Field of activity/expertise and role of the partner sought;
Tip: The summary is often the first text to be read by the potential partners. The title and the summary should be informative, concise and competitive, reflecting adequately the requested technology/know-how.

A good description should contain the following pieces of information:
• The project: Set the scene. Provide an introductory overview of the domain in which the R&D project is embedded and for what the results will be useful.
Explain the context - describe the project's aims and the issue to be tackled: what will be researched/developed, why and with whom.
Provide scientific/technological explanation, while keeping in mind that the profile should be understandable to a layman.
• The programme: Give the full name and information about the funding programme. Provide the programme framework conditions.
• The partnership: Provide information about the expertise/know-how of the organisation(s) already included/foreseen in the consortium.
Indicate the type, size, expertise/capabilities and roles of the requested partners and where they should be based (if relevant).
• Timescales:
- Official deadline for the call
- Deadline for the EoI
- Anticipated duration of the project
If using abbreviations, make sure to write them in full words, when they appear for first time in the profile text.
Important: Stand-alone acronyms, product names or trademarks are not allowed in the description. Avoid the use of “we/our” and never reveal company names, brands, patent numbers and other information, which might disclose the anonymity of the clients. The text should give enough details and answer obvious questions. Important components may include an accurate description of the product, the market context, etc.

Indicate the potential impact the R&D project may have on the society, the market, the environment. If possible, provide qualitative and quantitative arguments.
• Specify the competitive advantages of suggested technology/know-how in comparison with the prevailing technologies.
• If applicable, consider elements such as performance, ease of use, specific know-how, adapting to existing technology, range of products, organisational history and tradition.
• Avoid generalities such as “best” or “unique”, which are not followed by meaningful explanation.
It may be useful to add a bullet list of main advantages related to the technology, suggested for cooperation: i.e. innovative aspects, novelty, performance, ease of use, economic benefits, comparison to competitive technologies/know-how already on the market etc.
